At the grill.

Father's Day would not have been compete without some time relaxing in Seal Beach.  Visiting with cousins and celebrating the Dads was so much fun.  The perfect summer weather and great food, what more could you ask for?  We sure love the dads in our lives.

Happy Father's Day!

Uncle Bob at the grill.

Cousin Dolan is even cuter than Bieber.

A classic.

Inseparable.

Uncle AJ

Uncle Matt.

Tara took these while she and Matt were in town for Kevin's graduation.  Tara takes amazing pictures and she captured perfectly just how much fun these two had together.  And a special Birthday shout out to Uncle Matt this weekend.  We wish we could be in two places at once to celebrate with you too.  We love you.

Sweet.

Our tired baby girl on graduation day.  I had to share these sweet expressions, she melts my heart.

A special Father.

When it comes to fatherhood, he holds onto each moment like a treasure.  He hold this little lady close, rocks her to sleep, makes the silliest, clever songs and rhymes to sing for every activity under the sun.  His little sweet petite is already so in awe of her special Dad.  I can't wait to watch their bond grow as the months and years go by.

This Father's Day we celebrated our fathers who have been loving examples in our lives and Chloe celebrated one very special Father, her very own.   We love you, Kevin.

P.S. My current Kevin cover song is "Rice, Rice, Baby".  Sung to the tune of Vanilla Ice's huge 80's hit "Ice, Ice Baby" while breakfast is served.

Now how can you not start your day with a smile with that tune?

Here's a glimpse of Father's Day morning at our place and then off to a great barbeque at Uncle Bob and Aunt Gael's house.

I love this major bed head shot.
Peas in a pod.

Hats off to the grad!

Chloe was mesmerized by the tassel.

So, he did it, Kevin walked in his last (for now) graduation ceremony.  I get choked up every time I see him walk across the stage to get a diploma.  When I say every time I mean, I've attended four graduations, high school, undergraduate BS in Engineering, Masters in Robotics and now Master of Business.  He jokes about a PhD next and I roll my eyes and say,  "no way!"

In all seriousness, I am so proud of his perseverance and dedication to learning, knowledge and going after what he wants.  I am filled with pride that he is my husband.  It was a very special day.

We celebrated the best way we know how, with food and lots of family time.
Hello handsome.

Little lady almost made it across stage.

Woot woot!

The best team you could ask for: Kevin, Matt, Erin and Mike.

The Team: now lifelong friends.

Chi and I are so happy they are done.

*Not pictured-One delicious brunch at Sage in Newport Beach.  We were all in the moment and enjoying every bite of the delicious pastries to take pictures.  This cozy restaurant is on our return-to-soon list.  It was divine.

Aww, Savasana.

Every Wednesday, my hunny leaves work early to be sure I get a little spot of quiet all to myself.   Well, me and all the other yoga students anyway.  But Betsy's Restorative Yoga class is so refreshing and so restful.  After and hour and half of pure quiet (and a few cues in her angelic voice), I leave feeling like I've had a really long (uninterrupted) afternoon nap.  It is my the bit of quiet, peace and relaxation I've come to crave.  It makes me a better parent, wife and a better me.  Everyone needs a little time to recharge.

Thank you Betsy.  You and YogaWorks rock!  Thank you Kevin for taking care of our bloom while I stretch it out.

How do you recharge?

WolframAlpha - Name.

Check out this cool, "computational knowledge engine".
The hubs told me about it. Obviously.

You can ask it almost anything.

We searched our names:

Random but fun.
What did you ask WolframAlpha?

Knit Blooms.

I just received my etsy order in the mail.  I LOVE getting mail.
I feel smitten with these knit headpieces & had to share.

Check out ummanshin's shop, her tiny models below are so cute.

Of course I'll share photos of our little bloom rockin' these soon.
(She's recently learned to pull them from her hair, it might take two of us to pin a cute photo.)

Let the celebrations begin!

I had so many crafts and cute decorating ideas for this weekend that I didn't happen.  Like these,  Graduation Candy Pops.  Aren't they cute?  Oh well, we got more naps, the laundry is finished and Kevin survived the last week of classes.  With finals, presentations and study groups all complete, we begun celebrating last night with hearty dinner at Cucina AlessaCucina Alessa.  Their food always delivers, delish!

These two are too cute.

Tara + Matt= xoxo.

I love this man.

Getting loved up by the grandparents.

Heirloom Tomatoes, Basil, Mediterranean Olives, Buffalo Mozzarella, yum!

Congratulations to my Graduate!  I'm so proud of you.

Random:  I'm up early this morning.  I had trouble sleeping.  I think it was the combination of late bedtime, really full tummy, a nursing baby and today's excitement.  All good things but I hope I my adrenaline keeps me going for today's festivities.  It's 5:51am and I've straightened the living room, uploaded last nights photos, enjoyed some Grape Nuts cereal and cup o' decaf.  Productive yet, so early.  Off to shower.
